Dear colleagues, parents, students, alumni, well-wishers and Visitors, Greetings!

As principal of Mar Sleeva College, it gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to Mar Sleeva College of Arts and Science, Murickassery.  At the Degree College, it is our constant endeavor to give our students maximum exposure in their chosen field both theoretically and practically. The College focuses on outcome based teaching methods with a group of dedicated, experienced and well qualified faculty members.

  To ensure the all round development of students, the college has a number of Co-curricular and extracurricular activities that the students can take part in and showcase their unique talents. Students are encouraged and have participated in various inter-collegiate sports and cultural events where they have won several prizes for the college.

Parents are an integral part of the College and play an important role in meeting the vision and mission of the organization. It is the parents emotional support that helps their ward in enhancing their skills. Parents are periodically informed about the progress of their wards. Parent- teacher meetings are held so that parents can interact with the teachers. 

  Students will ultimately be part of society and have to perform in the real world. To ensure that they are able to face any challenge, the College has various value added programmes and personality development classes that prepares the students to face these challenges. Giving back to the society is integral part of the vision of Institute. Students are encouraged to participate in community service programmes, NSS etc so that they may contribute to the welfare of the society that they live in.

  I believe that excellence is always a continuous process, and results from noble intentions, sincere efforts and wise choice. Innovative measures taken by the College management and administration, the whole-hearted contribution of the teaching and non-teaching staff and the over-whelming response and enthusiastic participation of students have made the institution one of the prestigious educational institution in Idukki district.

I feel proud to acknowledge that the reputation, the college has acquired and established over these years of its excellence is due to the dedication and selfless commitment of faculties, non- teaching staffs, and the students. We have to continue to move ahead for producing and maintaining the best.

I am happy to note that the management of the college has clear and proper vision and is constantly equipping the college to attain its vision and mission. It is a welcoming place where our doors are open to our children, parents, alumni's, faculties and well-wishers. Wishing you all the best...
